Kahira Pharmaceuticals is the first public business company to obtain the Good Manufacturing Certificate (GMP) from the Drug Authority

Kahira Pharmaceuticals Company has obtained the Good Manufacturing Certificate (GMP) from the Egyptian Drug Authority for the Proximol production line, making it the first production line of its kind among pharmaceutical companies affiliated with the public business sector to obtain such a certificate from the Egyptian Drug Authority.
This certificate will support the company's export plans as it has many export orders during the current period for many Arabic countries, which will enable it to double its exports this fiscal year compared to last fiscal year.
It has also been completed to develop, modernize and raise the efficiency of production lines, service areas and their infrastructure within the framework of the project of compliance with the requirements of good manufacturing GMP and the requirements of the Egyptian Drug Authority to ensure increased production and sustainability of the company's factory to contribute to meeting the needs of the local market and expanding in foreign markets in accordance with the controls of international organizations working in this field.
Also, the production lines of the Cairo Pharmaceutical Company's factory, which includes 12 production areas, including the production areas of tablets, drinks, drops, capsules, suppositories, creams, ointments, ampoules, powders, effervescent bags, mouthwashes, disinfectants, suspended powder, plant extracts production line and inhaled narcotic area, are all in compliance with international standards.
